DANGEROUS GOODS EXPERTS ROMANIA SRL, DG Experts in short but originally under a different name, is a company established in 2008 by 2 people. We changed the name in 2014 to the current name and until today, after 16 years, it’s still a “family business” with meanwhile 3 persons.

The company started with “Management & Consultancy” as main activity, but mainly in the technical directions. When in 2009 a first contact with DG shipments took place and one of the cofounders having technical & IT experience related to sea freight forwarding, a new interest appeared. Obviously, the necessary further steps were then taken to explore this, at that moment, still very “green” and narrow market in Romania.
Because the approach arose from the air transport, a first DG by Air certificate was obtained in the same year and as the business developed over the next 3 years, a second certificate had been obtained in 2012.

With a permanently growing market and similar requests for other transport modes, we decided to expand our products and services to DG by Road and DG by Sea as well. That was of course also one of the reasons to adjust the company name in 2014.

Besides the products and operational services we offer, we’re organising also DG courses since 2012. This started again with the DG by Air course and also expanded to road and sea courses. For this purpose, we work together with Cargo Training International from UK, in the beginning with their instructors and since September 2020 with one of us being an associated instructor from C.T.I.
Having our own instructor, let us have the opportunity to organise “classroom” and, on request, “in-house” courses for DG by Air, Road and Sea, inclusive radioactive materials when applicable, all year round.

After these 16 years, we’re proud that we can offer a from “A till Z” products and services range, for the safe transport of Dangerous Goods. This from selling the smallest related products up to managing and supporting huge and complex projects, by the three of us, with a combined experience of 33 years in DG.

In any situation, we are always open to our client’s needs and requests, to whom we always try to offer the safest transport solutions possible, so that the freight can reach to the destination without any issues or problems.
